A few new projects: Misteress and Bite Me.

Well, lately I had an inspiration for a writing project. I was sitting there, watching Reba (yes, REBA! I absolutely love that show! : D) and Barbra Jean referred to herself as the 'mistress'. I thought, hmmm, wouldn't it be cool to write a book called mistress? It could be about a couple, and then the husband cheats with another woman, and then... oh wait, I forgot, there are a thousand other books just like that. So then I thought... what if the guy cheated on his wife with another guy? But oh darn, that wouldn't be a mistress. Oh my gaaawd. I could call the book 'Misteress'. What a grand idea!

So then I thought, hmmm, it would be kinda yawnish if the main character knows he's gay when he gets married to this woman. So I thought, and I decided, 'why not make him pansexual???'. So here I am! I bought a notebook at target to write it in, because I absolutely LOVE going back and seeing all those full pages with my hand writing, however sloppy it may be, on it. Yeppers, I am on my way to famosity!

Oh yeah, and while I'm on the topic of my wild crazy book projects, go check out the site I'm doing with my friend, Bite Me! It's about this guy named Haru who's parents recently died in a car accident, and after going around to several miserable foster homes, gets landed at Kiyose Higashi High School. He thinks that his life is falling apart until a strange boy moves into his room. A strange boy named Aku. Aku is a vampire who at first wants nothing more than Haru's blood, but eventually ends up falling for Haru. Will Haru fall in love back? Will Aku be able to contain his urges for blood? I guess you'll just have to go see for yourself!

An update on my life.

I decided I can't give up on my baby. I already dropped my old url (individualityquest.com) because it's not worth paying for a blog I don't want to devote much time into. For now this will be an update of my life occasionally, maybe some movie reviews, a few paid posts, dneero, etc, etc.

So I just went to Minneapolis again for my mom to get some tests done on her heart. It turns out that she has to get a pacemaker mabobby. She was really not wanting a big lump in her chest, saying it would be like a third boob. Luckily for her, she is able to get it in her side instead where it will be less noticable, but the procedure will be longer.

I got some sweet new skinny jeans at the hot topic in the mall of america. They're green. :-)

So I wish that blogger would pay me likea today.com does for blogging. :-( I get paid for every person that views my blog there, and I get paid for each post I do. (You would get that too after your first month)!

So we actually stayed in this fancy pants hotel called the ramada inn, which actually really sucked in my opinion. The waterpark that we went there for was only open on weekends, as was the arcade, and there was nothing special about the room. The bubbly pump thingys in the hot tub didn't work, and the hot tub was really dirty.

:-) Well, I guess I feel really, idk, in between happy and sad right now. It's like I don't actually feel anything right now, lol. Actually, I have no clue what I'm talking about.

My Bloody Valentine

Wow, what can I say about this movie... oh I got it! STUPID! This was not only not very scary, but it was also pretty nasty (you'll know what I'm talking about if you see it). Wow, it might have been good if my theatre would have had it in 3d, but no, so blah. I had fun eating chinese food afterwards though. :-)

Promises

What are your promises this year? Promises are very kewel and super fun to make and follow through with! I love to make all sorts of promises, but the tricky part is actually making sure you do what you promised to.

Maybe you made a promise to you/ your family/ your friends/ anyone who cares about you that you would lay of the drugs. Drugs are a bad, but common aspect of today's somewhat sad society. It can be very easy for some people to just slip into a bad habit and not be able to slip out. Well, that's where drug rehab california comes in!

Drug rehab California is located in some beautiful mountains in Santa Monica, and looks so perfect that you could take a picture. Dang, if I was addicted to a harmful chemical substance, I would SO go here. They offer some pretty sweet luxuries if you ask me.

So all in all, they look totally awesome, and if you have a drug problem, you should definitely go check them out. :-)

On their website you can take a virtual tour of their wuper cool place, find a phone number that you can contact them at, know what to expect when you join their program, and figure out what the heck promises is all about!

Word of the day Tuesday

The Japanese word of the day for Tuesday, December 16th is:

おはようございます
ohayougozaimasu

In japanese, this word means good morning. Unlike english usage of the phrase, it doesn't last all morning. After about 10:00 konnichiwa is the proper word to use.

Pronounciation: This word is pronounced Oh-Ha-Yo-o-Go-Za-I-Ma-Su
When you see words that have doubled vowels such as the yo-o part of this word, you just make that vowel last one sylabel longer.

Monday Word Of The Day

Hey all! As I said in my previous post, I will be having a word of the day every day from now on. I have been studying hard since then, and I think I have gathered enough knowledge to start on this project. I even figured out how to make my computer type in Japanese!

The word of the day for Monday, December 15, 2008 is:

こんにちは

(konnichiwa)

Written in Hiragana above the romanji, this word means good afternoon contrary to the popular belief that konnichiwa means hello. There is actually no word in the Japanese language for "hello". There are just different greetings for different times of the day, as there is in english. Just as we say 'good morning', 'good afternoon', 'good evening', and 'good night', so do the Japanese.

Over the next week or two, I'll be covering more greetings. I am learning Japanese through a very cool program called Human Japanese. I'm using the trial version right now, but I'll be getting the full versxion for Christmas.

I also have a new blog based on Negima!, called Negima! LOVE. Please check it out, subscribe, comment, etc.

The evolution of the blog...

This blog has been constantly changing and being altered since I started it. Some changes have improved the quality, but lowered earnings, some have lowered the quality, but improved earnings. The really great ones did both for me. Right now I am making a vow to myself that I must get my ass in gear and prepare for my trip to Japan in Spring 2011. I only have about two years left, and I need to start getting myself ready financially and language-wise. That is why I have decided to make some major changes to this blog. In the blogging world, there are things you need to succeed. You need great quality, great promotional tools, and loyal readers, all of which go hand in hand. I have been sluffing off and figured that if my passion for blogging is dying, then I need to change some things and spice it up.

Change #1- I changed the layout again. Though I did like the first two better, I wanted to change to something lighter so that not only will my readers be able to read the text easier, but they won't be scared away from what they make assume is some emo/gothic blog that whines about their life and doesn't really know what they're doing. Just look at some of my earlier work and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Change #2- I am going to do a Japanese word of the day on here so that I will be able to do a daily post without dread, and so that I can get some people with similar interests reading my blog.

Change #3- I changed the description of the blog. No longer will I be writing any poetry to be placed on this blog. Anything I write poetry-wise is going on my religion blog, because I consider that to be spiritual.

If you are one of the few people who have been reading this blog frequently for a while and like how it is, I'm sorry. UI'll still be writing about any exciting things that happen to me, but for now I need to (antonym for expand) my horizons. This blog is too broad to generate anything for google results, and will not be able to continue much longer the way it is. If you continue to read this blog, prepare to get an earful of Japan.

Just so you know though, I will NEVER change the name of this blog. It has become a major part of my life, and will always continue to under the name Quest for Individuality. Even if it someday has zero relevence.

Lazy ass post office!

Grrr, the post office makes me SO mad! Not only do they not have to work sundays, which is absolutely ridiculous, but they also get VETERAN'S DAY off! Stupid! If I don't get it off for school, the lazy post office shouldn't either. I was expecting two packages today, but no! Now I have to wait till tomorrow to get the stupid things! P.S. Happy Veteran's day!

How to clean... sort of.

Well, my kitty, Cocoa went to live outside for the summer last may, and came back in yesterday because it started to get too cold. We have a HUMONGOUS litter box, so we had to stretch and rip a regular garbage bag to make it fit as a litter box liner. I can't find my camera, so I just drew a picture of him in Microsoft Paint.Yea, so w

Yea, so when I'm not suffering from intense bordom, lately I've been cleaning my room. As of now, the cat lives in the bathroom, which makes is inaccessible for anybody else. The ultimate goal is to get him in my room, but I don't want all my crap in the way, so here is my guide to cleaning the lazy way.

1.) Pick up all of the clothes and put them in a garbage bag. Throw the garbage bag in the laundry room.
2.) Pick up all misc. junk and throw it in a nearby closet.
3.)Shove all the blankets onto the bed.
4.)Throw litter box out window.
5.) Last but not least, seal it all off by vacuuming.

There ya go, you have now cleaned an area of your house in the apropriate, half-assed manner. Just don't go outside, under the bed, in the closet, or inside the vacuum. (Hopefully that's not one of your regular destinations anyways.)

Season of frost!

Well, today we got the first snow in my area. Usually we have 2 feet of snow by Halloween though, so we got REALLY lucky this year. I like it better with snow anyways, just because it makes everything seem brighter and happier.

Speaking of frost though, yesterday I downloaded a file sharing program that I have used in the past. It's called frostwire and I LOVE it! Frostwire is very similar to limewire. It uses the same sources, servers, and other things whose meanings I don't know. But it was made by the same people, and it looks almost identicle. But the differences I noteice between Limewire and Frostwire is that frostwire is ALOT faster, and ALOT safer. When I used to use limewire I would get many viruses, but ever ever since I switched to frowstwire, I haven't gotten a single virus.

Frostwire is a file sharing program, which means that you share the files on your computer with whoever else is using the program. You can use it to download movies, songs, pictures, ganes, documents, etc. It is very useful if you don't mind breaking a law or two in exchange for getting your music and stuff free. Not saying that's what I use it for. ;-)

Also, one more happy jolly christmassy thing. A friend of mine on IWC (an awesome forum you should definitely check out) started up a new site selling hand made potholders that are made of 100% renewable resources! It is a great stocking stuffer idea, and I really suggest that you check it out! I think I'm going to buy around 10 of these for christmas presents in my family.

Obama Wins the Election!

Well, I feel a lot better today. I was watching the election pretty much all night, and Obama won by a lot when you look at the electoral votes. It was fairly close when you look at the populous vote, which should be the only thing that counts. Electoral votes are stupid. They should not even exist. No one person should have any more value than any other when it comes to the presidential election, delegate or not. Our votes don't count, and it's as simple as that. Just look at past elections. P.S. - I switched the font color to orange because somebody suggested it once. I don't really like the way it looks, but I guess it's a little easier to read. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated in the form of a comment.
